Advice for use

The Solide Washing-up Cake and its Ceramic Support:

Position the Solide Washing-up Cake with its ceramic support (sold separately) near your sink. You can fix it using the repositionable double-sided adhesive underneath the support.
Run your sponge or your brush under the water to moisten it a little and lightly rub the Solide Washing-up Cake… watch it foam up!
Next, wash your dishes like you usually would while doing good to our planet!
Do not flood the Solide Washing-up Cake and avoid leaving water on it after use. The sponge only needs to be slightly moistened to get some product without leaving too much water on the product. After use, let it dry: the small excess of water present on the surface of the product will evaporate.
Once the Solide Washing-up Cake is finished, you can clean the support with a sponge and some hot water, dry it and insert a new Solide Washing-up Cake (available in bulk for refill, without packaging).
Caution: keep out of reach of children, avoid any contact with eyes. Do not ingest. In case of projecting in the eyes, abundantly rinse with clear water. Remove contact lenses if the concerned person is wearing any. If irritation or rash occurs, consult a doctor.

The Wooden Dish Brush:

Moisten your brush a little, lightly rub the Solide Washing-up Cake to get some product, it foams: scrub your dishes.
For prolonged use, do not leave your brush in the water and let it air dry after use.
Ideally, you should hang it up using its metallic hook.
You can preserve the quality of the handle and increase the longevity by covering it with food-grade canola oil or flaxseed oil (like the ones used for cooking) about every 6 months. Do not use just any oil, some will give the wood an uncomfortable smell.
Save money: when the bristles of the brush are too old, you can replace only the head of the brush and keep the same handle.

How to change the head?
Pull down the ring towards the handle, and take out the old head.
Place the new head between the 2 metallic parts and pull up the ring towards the head to keep it firmly in place.

The Organic Cotton and Loofah Sponge:

Wring out well after each use, and hang up to dry.
Wash in the washing machine once a week (up to 60°C) and/or boil for a few minutes.
At the end of its life, you can cut it into small pieces and throw it in your compost. It is compostable and biodegradable.
Be careful to position the sharp side of knives towards the outside of the sponge to not cut and damage it.
